The Garden

It's time for an update on our growing things...

We've gotten what seems like more rain than sun these days, but it appears that's just what our garden needed as it took baby steps in the growing process.  Voila!
2 WEEKS AGO: You can see a hint of green as the seedlings popped up!
TODAY: Amazing growth!
And Dan's genius netting for the peas is working great!

Our Strawberry Harvest!
Soooo good on oatmeal....Mmmmm Hmm....And what else is growing? The baby bump!  We've got 14 weeks to go, and this little one has been growing like crazy!  I have the official preggo waddle now, and can no longer see my toes when I look straight down.
Quite an odd experience...

Baby is now nearly 2 pounds, 14 inches long, and can hear the outside world quite clearly.  One morning, Dan set his alarm to sound like a barking dog and when it went off, Baby and I both jumped at the same time!  It was adorable to feel the little start inside me and know a little person had been awakened from dreamland by the same noise!

Baby also likes to play games with Mommy and Daddy when we're trying to get it to move out of an uncomfortable position in my tummy; it kicks back quite persistently in return, even after we've stopped the pushing and prodding!  We have a lively little lovebug on our hands!
